EMC focuses on one of the main pillars of sustainability which is the (Environment) where
it begins to take into consideration the climate change. EMC contribution to the climate
considerations comes in the form of :
Raising the environmental awareness where in 2022, EMC celebrated the World Environment
Day, aiming to set an example for the environment appreciation and protection.

In addition to comprehensive sessions given to the employees as part of their general orientation.
HSE EMC begins to play an important role in helping the world navigate the energy transition. Not
only this but also the company abide by the strategy of MOP where a whole pillar is dedicated
for the energy efficiency.

Thus in 2022, the company has acquired ISO
50001:2018 for energy management system where
QA & it provides a practical way to improve the energy use

Compliance through the development of energy management. Along
with the energy policy which ensures the company’s
commitment to use the energy in the most effective and
environmentally responsible manner through adapting
the most practices of the energy management system.
Moreover, updating some of company’s procedures
to include the energy efficiency pillar beside issuing
energy management & communication procedure.
